Acer’s gaming laptop lineup in India has got a boost with the new Acer Nitro 5, which is also the company’s first with Intel 10th Gen core processors. The Nitro 5 will be available in two screen sizes and different variants based on the processor, RAM and CPU. The starting price of the laptop is ₹72,990 and you can buy it from Acer E-store and authorized e-commerce and retail outlets.

Acer Nitro 5 specifications

The Nitro 5 comes in two screen models - 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch. Both have FHD IPS displays with a bit of narrow bezels on the sides, which results in 80% screen to body ratio, as per Acer. These are powered by Intel's 10th-gen Core i7 processor (highest variant) along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. It can be configured by up to 32GB DDR4 RAM.

One can also expect 144Hz refresh rate support for smooth flow of the eligible content. However, to keep the gaming laptop cooled down, you get the company's CoolBoost technology with dual-fan system & four exhaust ports.

On the connectivity front, Acer Nitro 5 has HDMI 2.0, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 2, and more. There’s also Killer Ethernet E2600 to prioritize gameplay and stream using Intel Wi-Fi 6 with 2x2 MU-MIMO technology.

The 4-zone RGB keyboard has a dedicated NitroSense Key in addition to highlighted WASD and arrow keys. Acer claims that Nitro 5’s keyboard has a travel of 1.6mm. And for audio, the laptop features dual speakers with DTS:X Ultra audio.
